Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Tally Tax sends your request to one licensed tax professional, who pays us a flat fee for it. Under California and several other state privacy laws, that counts as selling your personal information. You can tell us to stop.

Other ways to reach us

If you’d rather not use the form, email privacy@tallytax.co with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” Include the name you used, the phone number and email address you submitted, and your request ID if you have it.

Browser signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or an extension sends it, we treat that as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser, without you needing to email us.

What opting out does and doesn’t do

Going forward, we will not sell or share your personal information for advertising or send new requests from you to a professional.
It does not undo a match already made. If we already sent your request to a professional, they hold that information independently. Contact them directly to ask them to stop or to delete it.
It does not stop calls and texts on its own. To stop those, reply STOP to any text, tell a caller to stop, or email us and say so.
It does not delete your information. To ask for deletion, or to see or correct what we hold, email us. Some records, such as proof that you consented to be contacted, may be kept as the law allows.

Someone may submit a request for you if you give them written permission. We may ask them for proof and may ask you to confirm it directly.
